Jim was a senior executive at the BBC for over thirty years, during which time, as well as being COO of BBC Resources, he was also tasked with delivering property and technology solutions on some of the BBC's biggest and highest profile infrastructure projects. His portfolio included the design and build of the BBC's, multi award winning 16,000sqm Roath Lock studio development in Porth Teigr Cardiff.

He also specified, negotiated, and oversaw the build and technical installation of the Dock 10, Peel Media Studios, 18,000sqm complex in Media City Salford.

Jim gained an MBA with Distinction from Bradford University Management School and has undertaken executive education at Harvard, Insead and the London Business School.
